We are Dr. Kit Bustamante and Dr. Ging Garcia-Bustamante, board-certified family physicians and the founders of Good News DPC.
We started our direct primary care practice in Long Beach because we wanted more time to listen, answer questions, and get to know the people we care for. o bring healthcare back to what truly matters: relationship, time, trust, and faith.
Our Christian faith shapes how we serve. We see medicine as a calling to care for people with compassion, integrity, and respect, and we welcome patients of all backgrounds.
Christopher “Kit” Bustamante, MD
I’m a board-certified family physician with prior urology training in the Philippines. That experience informs my work in men’s health and office procedures. What I enjoy most about family medicine is getting to know patients over time and helping them as their health needs change.
Margret “Ging” Garcia-Bustamante, MD
I’m a board-certified family physician who cares for children, adults, and older adults. I enjoy helping patients understand what’s going on with their health and talk through their options. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and leave our visits with a plan that makes sense to you.
A little about us outside the clinic
We’re a Filipino family who loves to travel, try new foods, and spend time in the kitchen. Kit cooks, Ging bakes, and our two girls Gia and Sela adore Nacho, our pug — who is the unofficial clinic mascot.
