Meet the Team

We are Kit Bustamante, MD and Ging Garcia-Bustamante, MD — Filipino, Christian, and board-certified family physicians with over 30 years of combined experience.

We started Good News DPC in Long Beach to bring healthcare back to what truly matters: relationship, time, trust, and faith.

Medicine is not just our profession — it’s our calling. And whatever we do, if we do it for the Lord, it becomes God-honoring. Every patient interaction is an opportunity to serve with compassion, integrity, and purpose.

Outside the clinic, we’re a proud family of five — our son Nio, and our two daughters Gia and Sela — plus our lovable pug (and unofficial clinic mascot), Nacho. We love to travel, try new foods, and share the kitchen: Kit loves to cook and Ging loves to bake. We also happen to love BTS (Borahae ARMY!).

You deserve a doctor who knows your name, listens to your story, and cares beyond the chart. That’s what we do — and it’s our joy to do it in Jesus’ name.

    Known for her warm bedside manner and thorough, personalized care, she is passionate about helping patients take ownership of their health while providing the time, attention, and advocacy they deserve.

    Dr. Kit is a board-certified family physician with more than 20 years of primary care experience practicing in the United States. Prior to relocating to the U.S., he completed specialty training in Urology in the Philippines, which provided him with a solid foundation in surgical techniques and men’s health. This distinctive combination of training and experience enables him to deliver care that is both wide-ranging and highly informed, addressing a broad spectrum of health concerns with depth and sensitivity.

    As co-founder of Good News DPC, Dr. Kit is passionately committed to restoring the patient-doctor relationship through accessible, faith-informed, and relationship-centered care.

    He is currently welcoming new members and looks forward to partnering with you in your health journey.
